Sustainability for the future is a key message that our student leaders wish to impart on the wider school community. Through learning about the environmental impacts we are making today, we are educated to make better choices and become responsible global citizens.

At Nullawarre and District Primary School, all students from Prep to Year Six are engaged in an extensive agricultural program, which is contextualised through our Literacy, Numeracy and STEAM learning areas. We are proud to partner with many of our local farms and draw on the expertise of our parents and community members to engage students in the wide variety of pathways in dairy. A main focus of this program is our calf program throughout Term 2 where each classroom has the responsibility of rearing calves and learning from them. Students also experience excursions, incursions, guest speakers, and a wide variety of other learning opportunities.
